Beyond Solar: A Renewable Energy Future

We started with the sun. We're expanding to the river, the wind, and beyond.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

A foundation built on the sun.

Solterra has established itself as one of Georgia's leading solar IPPs, with a portfolio generating over 75,000 MWh annually. But solar is only the beginning. Georgia's geography is extraordinary: high-altitude sunshine, powerful mountain rivers, wind corridors through the Caucasus range. We intend to harness all of it.

ROADMAP

Technology Roadmap

01
2019–2024

Solar Foundation

Completed

Develop and commission 50+ MWp solar portfolio across eastern Georgia. Establish PPA framework. Build operational excellence.

02
2024–2026

Solar Scale-Up

In Progress

Add 80+ MWp additional solar capacity. Expand into Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti, Adjara. Grow corporate PPA base.

03
2026–2028

Hydropower Entry

Planned

Develop 2–3 small/medium run-of-river hydro plants (10–50 MW each). Hydro strong in winter, solar in summer.

04
2028–2030

Wind & Storage

Planned

Evaluate wind in mountain corridors. Integrate BESS for grid balancing. Become Georgia's leading multi-tech IPP.

Solar — Our Foundation

Georgia receives 1,400–1,600 peak sun hours annually — exceptional by European standards. Tier-1 panels, string inverters, 25-year warranties. Solar will remain core through 2030.

Hydropower — Complementary & Reliable

Georgia has over 26,000 rivers with untapped potential. Run-of-river hydro plants generate consistent baseload power, complementing solar's variable nature.

Wind & Storage — The Future

We are conducting feasibility assessments for wind in Georgia's mountain corridors. Combined with battery storage, wind will allow us to deliver dispatchable clean energy.

Building Georgia's Energy Future Together

We are seeking strategic partners — financial investors, landowners, technology partners — to accelerate our renewable energy portfolio.
